Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), is a disease of the eye affecting prematurely born babies generally having received neonatal intensive care, in which oxygen therapy is used due to the premature development of their lungs.

We conduct regular screening camps at SNCUs of Thiruvallur, Thiruvannamalai, Chengalpattu, Perambalur and Vellore districts for new-borns with the support of Radhatri Nethralaya. Children who require laser treatment will be done at free of cost.
