Join Us in Clean Hospital Drive at 24 Government Hospitals in 20 districts of TamilNadu during the Joy Of Giving Week, 2011.
Please find the details of the districts and hospitals, contact numbers of community coordinators, Ekam district coordinators and central coordinators sent as attachment.
All this is happening only because of the great support from the Joy of Giving Week team and motivation of the local coordinators who are all volunteers from various NGOs like NDSO, TNVHA and TNForces, Government permissions and Domex providing the materials for cleaning !!

URGENT NEED: Support BAS Project |

Request for the Support of Emergency fund for Bala Arogya Suraksha project.
The emergency fund would be used mainly for the following items
1.Drugs- This would be supplied by the dealer with whom we have tied up immediately to the concerned hospital on credit basis and at non profit basis.
2.Equipment- Either repairing of the equipment would be done or it would be bought from a vendor who supplies the equipment at subsidised cost on credit basis. 3.Lab Support- We have tied up with Lalpath lab who come to the hospitals take the blood samples and give the correct reports in time. They subsidise the cost by 40% to us and we pay them on credit basis.
4. Manpower - NRHM is providing the salaries for the nurses and we monitor them along with the units.
5. Referral treatments in other hospitals especially to private hospitals- whenever any baby is sick and intubated and needs ventilatory support which may be usually not available we shift the babies to the nearby networked private hospital and give them our referral letter . we again pay them on a credit basis.

EKAM Foundation has signed an MOU with Indian Cinema's Popular Music Director "Harris Jayaraj" as their brand ambassador for their programme for under privileged children's development and other social activities. Part of the collections made at the program "On the stage with Harris Jayaraj" will be donated to EKAM Foundation. |
